What Data We Collect and Why
When You Browse the Site
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site. This can process usage information such as pages visited, engagement, device type, approximate location and online identifiers. These data are not necessarily anonymous. Your choices are communicated through Google Consent Mode; limited cookieless signals may still be sent when analytics storage is refused. This data helps us improve our content.

When You Leave a Comment
We collect the data shown in the comment form (name, email, website), plus your IP address and browser user agent string for spam detection. A hash derived from your email, which is not necessarily anonymous, may be sent to the Gravatar service to display your profile picture. See Gravatar’s privacy policy.
You may opt in to saving your name, email, and website in cookies so you don’t have to re-enter them next time.
When You Make a Purchase
Our shop is powered by WooCommerce. When you place an order, we collect the information needed to fulfill it: name, email, shipping address, and payment details. Orders are fulfilled by Printful, our print-on-demand partner. Your shipping information is shared with Printful solely for order fulfillment.
Payment processing is handled by the payment gateway you choose at checkout. We do not store your full payment details on our servers.

How Long We Keep Your Data
- Comments: retained indefinitely so follow-up comments can be auto-approved
- Shop orders: retained as required by Italian tax and accounting law
- Analytics data: our Google Analytics property is configured to retain event-level and user-level data for 14 months. The retention period for user data resets when there is new activity, so returning activity can extend that period. These controls do not apply to most standard reports based on aggregated data. Cookie lifetimes are separate from these data-retention settings.
Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data (right to be forgotten)
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to processing of your data
- Withdraw consent for cookies at any time
To exercise any of these rights, email us at webmaster@pudgycat.io. We will respond within the applicable legal time limit, normally one month. Where the law permits an extension, we will explain the reason. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.
Data Security
We use HTTPS encryption across the entire site. Access to personal data is restricted to site administrators. Advertising partners may process online identifiers as described in our Cookie Policy and consent message. Where applicable, use the US privacy link supplied by Google to exercise advertising opt-out choices.

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top.
